Teach-In/Fundraiser: Immigrant Justice

Friends are invited to remain after meeting for worship to share in a lunch prepared by our Food for Friends crew and join in a discussion on immigration. We will learn about advocacy work engaged in by Wind of the Spirit, a faith-based immigrant resource center with 24 years of experience in New Jersey whose is mission is to "educate, organize and mobilize the immigrant community and its allies for a just and dignified immigration policy within the framework of human rights." We'll learn how we can become involved in building more welcoming communities. Participation and donations are welcome.
